Joyful Giving Celebration

Richmond Hospital Foundation is proud to honour some of the many donors across our community who give with joy to build a better and healthier future for Richmond. Their generosity, their leadership and their drive to have an impact on health care, is an inspiration for us all.

This year, although we could not gather in person, we held an online Joyful Giving Celebration. We brought together Richmond Hospital’s doctors, nurses and senior hospital leaders to express their genuine, heartfelt gratitude for the impact donors make every day.

Over the past year, we have experienced true joy in seeing our community come together to be part of the solution to help one another. Donors have demonstrated their appreciation for Richmond’s health care teams who continue to keep us healthy, providing surgical care, and ensuring a better future for us all for generations to come. We are deeply grateful to donors for their generosity and contributions so that lives can be joyful and well-lived.

Leadership Award Presented to Peter & Usha Raju

This award is in recognition of a donor’s leadership and exceptional commitment to health care in our community. This year’s recipients are Peter & Usha Raju. Longtime residents of Richmond, Peter and Usha have deep roots in our community and are familiar to all of us with their family’s business, Peace Arch Duty-Free. Their relationship with the Foundation spans many years and they have supported health care in many ways. Thank You Peter & Usha for being stand-out heroes and helping to improve local health care.

Community Cares Award Presented to Cindy Lee & Tina Lee, on behalf of T&T Supermarket

This award is in recognition of Cindy Lee & Tina Lee’s efforts to reach out and unite our diverse and growing community and to champion local health care. As part of their corporate culture, T&T wants their giving to inspire others in Richmond to give as well, so that the community can come together to help drive improvements at Richmond Hospital.
